HP's DeskJet 3070A multifunction printer doesn't make a great initial impression. Its grey plastic breadbin shape and greyscale LCD display are reminiscent of designs from the 1990s.

The DeskJet 3070A isn't a high-volume printer, but its combination of speed, quality and price makes it a good choice for home users who need an efficient printer for daily use, with the additional option of good photo prints when required.
